I need some help. I am having movie issues. Last night Brett and I watched The Benchwarmers, which was pretty much the dumbest movie I've ever seen besides Talladega Nights. Seriously. Don't waste an hour and a half of your life on that movie. It was basically John Heder picking his nose, a bunch of bathroom humor, and a bunch of jokes that didn't even make sense. And then they all ended up with hot girls. To make up for it, I will probably watch something awesome tonight, like The Prestige. I am desperately wishing that Dark Knight was out on DVD right now, but since it's not, I would love some suggestions for a good movie that we can watch. What's your favorite movie? What's a great movie that you saw recently?
A few of the better movies that I've seen recently were the old version of The Manchurian Candidate, Lars and the Real Girl, and Wall-E. The last two were very heartwarming, touching movies, and the first was just great. It was mostly talk (the one action scene is not so great) but it is pretty suspenseful. Plus I love old blue eyes. So help me out and give me some ideas for another great movie to add to my repertoire!

I would recommend both Hairspray and Mamma Mia. You may have already seen Hairspray because it's been out for awhile. Rog and I just saw it about a month ago and we both loved it. (Yeah, I was surprised he loved it too!)
we recently rented baby Mama. It was funny, and cute. But I like silly humor... not bathroom humor... Matt and I both were laughing quite a bit!
I would also have to agree. Baby mama was so hilarious i couldn't stop laughing! We also just watched the strangers on our clearplay that movie was really scary if you like scary movies!
I haven't seen any recent movies that I love (well actually, I take that back, if you haven't seen Vantage Point or Flight Plan, both of those are worth watching) The ones I was gonna recommend were old time favorites: Charade, Arsenic & Old Lace & Singin' in the Rain.
You could always do Chinese Mean Girls (Raise the Red Lantern) and go out to Panda Express afterwards, or Becoming Jane up until the depressing part, or Pride and Prejudice, Stranger than Fiction, or watch 30 Rock/Pushing Daisies episodes online (our new addiction). Dang, now I need to watch a movie...
I agree with Mamma Mia, an awesome movie. And if you like action, the Incredible Hulk was really good, not at all like the first one...
