Babies on a Plane
Kennedy and I are traveling to Texas on Tuesday for a girl trip. We have lots of fun things planned, including a trip to the zoo, some crafty stuff, cooking, and going to Sprinkles. But there is one thing I am worried about. I have to take Kennedy on the plane. By myself. What am I going to do? I don't have Brett as a support system, and he's usually the one who can get her to go to sleep. I think she does have her own seat, which is nice, but that won't stop her from getting antsy. I don't even have a bottle to calm her down now that she's down to one a day. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to smoothly travel with a 13 month old and only one parent? I would be eternally grateful, especially since I'll be doing this both ways.

You can bend the rules this time and just give her a bottle to calm her down :p better than an angry baby!
I know a lot of people will say give her some benadryl, etc... but i would just try and keep her awake until it's time for take-off and hopefully she'll sleep through most of it, and then have as much stuff as you can to keep her busy and happy the rest of the time. Portable DVD player with Little Einstein's, etc. saved us on a few trips with Will. GOOD LUCK!! :)
Hopefully, Kennedy will stay awake all day if she's not in her bed though :p
