Because a Thankful Heart is a Happy Heart
A few of my friends have running lists on the sidebar of their blog of things that they are thankful for. Today I felt like I needed to start this on my own blog. Over the past few months in particular I have been struck by how many things I have to be thankful for quite a few times. I have been blessed beyond measure, and certainly more than I deserve. Rather than just have a blog post every once in a while about things that I am thankful for, I'm going to keep that running list on the side. Also, you should look up the Veggie Tales song Thankful Heart. It is darling and perfect for this blog post, but I can't find it to share it with you myself. I hope that you can see the hand of God in your lives as well and see all that you have to be thankful for everyday.

It really is a fun thing to keep track of. In the past I have often just thought the things and never recorded them but looking back on them every now and then and watching the list grow, has been one of my favorite parts of blogging the last few months.
what a great idea! Its so great to keep a positive perspective on life! There is so much to be thankful for!
I really should start something like that. THanks for the reminder of what we all should be thankful for... God! that, in and of itself is enough to get through the "trials" we have in life!
