Lack of Motivation

So, I hope that I'm not the only one out there who finds it hard to get motivated.  Between finishing school (by Thanksgiving), a messy house, a baby, errands, and many other things that make my weeks so busy, I often find myself taking time that could be spent being productive turning on the TV or browsing blogs.  Help!  I really need to get over this horrible laziness that seems to have consumed my life.  I had this problem to a certain extent before Kennedy arrived, but now, every time she is asleep I start relaxing.  I do this a little too much because every time I actually start to work she wakes up.  What do you do to juggle your lives and still find the time/motivation to do the things that need to be done?  I would really love some ideas.

I don't know if I can help you because I have the same problem. Maybe only allow time wasters while you do other things, like eating a meal?

It must be in the air... I have been feeling that way too.... very unmotivated. I have to set limits and goals for the day. I can have 15 minutes computer time AFTER I wash the dishes, another 15 minutes AFTER I clean up the living room, etc... I try to make a little game. It helps. :)

Honestly... its okay to be that way! Your a mother, the hardest job in the world!! The world nowadays makes you think you have to be doing something constantly 24/7 but we really shouldn't be, we need rest! So its okay! Take advantage when she is asleep, nap, catch up on reading etc... so again, ITS OKAY!

I find that if you write down a schedule and display it somewhere. Like the fridge.

I find that when I write down a schedule, I feel I stick to it more. If you have a set naptime for Kennedy, that's your window of opportunity.
