I am not Martha Stewart, believe it or not. My house is never perfectly clean, and I very rarely give my kids creative things to do. That's not to say that we don't have fun, but we pretty much do the same stuff all the time. And since we live in a plce that has ALL white carpets and walls right now, I hate getting out stuff that is super messy.
I broke down and bought some finger paints a while ago. The kids kept it SO clean (although Noah got a good bit of paint on himself) - I was really impressed. They also had the best time.
I love the different styles and techniques that they both had. Kennedy's was much neater and themed. Noah's was just a big jumble of paint.
These pictures don't show it, but Noah was covered in paint. It was all over his tummy (shirt off because he kept wiping his hands on it), pants, hands, arms, face, you name it. They obviously had a lot of fun. Hopefully I will find the energy to do it again before too long.

The blog looks really cute! You don't have to credit me, I was talking about other designers, friends get special privileges. :) Kennedy's dress is cute. I also love how their art turned out so different. Maybe I should try fingerpainting with Elle.
Cute your kids are so much older since the last time I looked at your blog! Congratulations on expecting! Love the new blog looks too!5
Your kids are growing up so much! :) I've been trying to decide if it's worth it to do finger painting with our girls. Maybe now I'll give it a try! Glad to know you are all doing so well, and good luck with the rest of your pregnancy, too!
That sounds like such a fun activity! Your kids are so cute :)
