Brett and I were introduced to Dave Ramsey a few weeks ago by the Guerrettes. We are so happy that they did! We have read his book The Total Money Makeover and we're hooked! Considering that we just had a baby by C-section and that earlier this year Brett was inbetween jobs for a while we have accrued some debt. We are now determined to get ourselves out of debt and stay that way forever! He has some incredible ideas about debt and economics. He has really helped us to see what we can do with our money and how it can work for us and how we don't have to be slaves to our debt. I love that one of his main ideas about money is that giving is part of the fun. He talks extensively about how wonderful it is to give. We are so excited that we can start so young so that soon we will have plenty of money to have fun, invest, and give it away as well as being able to help our kids get through college. Read his books. You won't feel the same about money again.
