A Chain of Giving

I entered this on Noelle's blog, so now I need to pass it along to you!  The first 5 people to comment on this post (and continue the chain on your blog) will receive something made by me!  What it is will depend on how close you are to me, so I'm not going to specify anything.  You'll just have to be surprised. :)  Good luck!

And now for something completely different (that you don't have to put on your blog)...

love that I get to plan Kennedy's birthday already!
hate that I have to wait 2 months to implement it

love that I finally have some snacks and good food around the house
hate that since I'm home all day I will eat it

love that I got my new Cooking Light today!
hate that we already went shopping and I'll have to wait until next week to try any of the recipes

love that Brett now only has to work every 3rd Saturday
hate that he still has to work Saturdays at all

love that we get to watch Lost tonight
hate that we have to watch it a day later than everyone else

love that Brett is doing so well in his class
hate that it's in Lehi in the evening

love that I'm getting way better at using the leftover food we have
hate nothing....

Yay! You got a Cooking Light! Isn't it great? We love ours. Make sure to try the asparagus and the chocolate fudge cookies (page 145 I think)...as long as we have the same edition. Mine has a picture of a chocolate cheesecake slice on it, does yours?

Yay for surprises. Except, I think you're allowed to count your movie tickets/babysitting surprise you gave us on our anniversary :) And guess what! Nate has been playing basketball with some guys in the ward on Wednesdays so we've been watching Lost later too :( Boo

I love Cooking Light. If I were to subscribe to one magazine, that would be it :)

Your chain post reminded me that I used to get chain mail in the actual mail from my friends. How weird is that? It has already progressed from air mail to email to blogs. I'm not even that old! What are you going to do for Kennedy's birthday party? I also need your address so that I can have my mom send you the thing i bought you that KT left in CA even though I threatened her if she didn't bring it to you.

By the by, you need to change your blog background to commemorate Texas Independence Day, which is March 2. Just saying.
