I Don't Know If I'll Survive the Day

Kennedy has been quite sensitive lately and cries and throws fits much more easily than usual. Most of the time though, this is limited to once a day, sometimes twice. Apparently not today. Here is a schedule of what our day has been like so far:

7:30 - Kennedy wakes up
7:40 - Tantrum #1 - I took her toothbrush away because she was chewing on it, which I told her not to do
7:50 - Tantrum #2 - I tried to put her in her booster seat to eat breakfast
8:05 - Tantrum #3 - I wouldn't let her sit on my lap to eat because she's too big for that now
8:30 - Tantrum #4 - I wouldn't turn on Wall-E or Up for her because I was watching the news and we were about to take a bath
9:30 - Tantrum #5 - Still currently going on, and it's 9:45. I tried to trade her a Nutrigrain bar for a spray bottle that she was holding that I didn't want her to have. She promptly threw the spray bottle on the ground, and then half of the Nutrigrain bar. After a few minutes she calmed down and asked for the bar again. I tried to give it to her and she screamed, so I set it on the table for when she wanted it. She continued screaming and threw half of the bar on the ground again. I confess I got a little bit angry and told her she had to go to bed because she was too tired and put her in her room. She is currently still in there screaming.

That's right. Two hours, five tantrums. These are not just crying bouts. She is arching her back so I can't hold her, laying on the floor and kicking her legs, and even running into her room and slamming the door. And she's screaming. And the tears are flowing. Pray for me to get through the day.
