Kennedy-isms

I just thought I would document some of the cute things that Kennedy has been doing lately. She has been loving to put on these headphones and walk around the house in them.
At first she kind of walked around like a cat with a Christmas bow on its head. If you've never seen that, it's hilarious. They walk around really low like there's something right above them. This is exactly what Kennedy did with a perplexed look on her face. We've never been able to get her to keep headphones on before, so this is a momentous occasion. I might actually be able to get her to watch a video on the plane to Texas. That would be awesome.
She also keeps walking around the house saying, "Ohmbitee." We have absolutely no idea what that means. She doesn't say it at specific times or anything, it's just kind of random. If I ever figure out what it is, I'll let you know. She also loves to say, "Honey" in a disappointed voice every time she spills something. I guess that must have been my reaction a lot of the time, because I don't know where else she would have picked that up.

Today she set up her Mickey Mouse train set and watched it go around the tracks. Eventually I saw her sitting in the middle of the track holding the train in place and saying, "Stay there!" It was so funny. We tell her to stay there all the time, and I guess she knows exactly what it means.
Since we all feel better the past few days have been much easier and very much back to normal as far as fits go. She still throws things and hits when she gets frustrated, but I guess that's normal and just something we have to deal with. We ventured out to the park today, which was good because we both were starting to get cabin fever. Also - only 9 more days before we are officially moved out of our apartment and on to Texas! Brett reports in 3 weeks. It's really starting to sneak up on us!

Ha ha, love the new blog background. Very clever. It's so cute hearing what kids say in reaction to things like that. If my nieces are trying to get us to guess something and we guess wrong, they'll always say, no, but GREAT guess! ha ha.
