Best Friends Forever

Do you remember this picture?
This is Kennedy and Boston Waddoups holding hands when she was 5 months old and he was 2 months old.  Aren't they cute?  I took some pictures of them yesterday while Boston was over and thought I'd give an update of what these two look like.
Haven't they gotten so big?!  Boston is a big boy, he's bigger than Kennedy.  He's now just about 10 months old and she's almost 13 months.  They're funny together.
Last week, Boston started crying, which got a sympathy cry from Kennedy, and they just kept going back and forth.  We took a video, but I am lame and can't figure out how to get videos onto my computer from my camera.  So until I figure it out, these cute pictures will have to suffice.  And on a gross note, Kennedy pooped in the bathtub for the first time this morning.  I really thought that we would be able to avoid that, but I guess not.  Thankfully, she's solid now, so it wasn't too bad to clean up.

Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday was an eventful day for us.  We ran lots of errands, played a lot with Kennedy, and went on a hayride to a pumpkin patch!  We did this last year as a ward activity down at the Red Barn in Santaquin, and it was so much fun that they decided to do it again.  We got Kennedy decked out in her pumpkin outfit that Grandpa Pitt sent to her.  Her onesie says "little pumpkin" on it.

Here is Boston sporting a pink hat that he borrowed from the Guest girls.  His daddy wasn't so happy about this, but as Kim was putting it on, Boston was smiling away.
Kennedy loves her hat, and it started getting cold right about now, so we had to bundle her up before we got to the pumpkins.
Here we are in front of the wagon that took us over there.  Kennedy was having a great time watching the other kids on the ride that were sitting next to us.
When we got to the patch, Brett very quickly found some perfect carving pumpkins.  We got one for us to share and one small one for Kennedy.  Of course they made sure to have some fun stuff there other than just the pumpkins, so here we are as pumpkins and ghosts.

Poor Kennedy was exhausted after this, and she hardly slept at all last night because her first tooth poked out yesterday!  It is way sharper than I was expecting.  We can't see it yet, but it is most definitely there when we put our fingers in her mouth.  Does anyone have any helps for teething pain?  A repeat of last night would probably kill me or Brett.  Or both.

Baby Love

The Waddoups watched Kennedy for a little while last week while I was helping out a friend and Brett was helping the guy that bought his car.  I didn't get these pictures until this morning, but I was looking forward to seeing them ever since I heard about them!  Ever since we found out that we were having a girl and they were having a boy, we have been joking about them getting married one day.  But Kennedy and Boston look like they might like each other a lot already!
Here they are, holding hands without being provoked!  As Kim pointed out to us, there are no pictures of Kennedy that aren't blurry because she is constantly moving.  I'm serious, she never stops.  But I figure that this will be a good thing as she gets older.  And I have to point out, that although the parents of both children tend to be pretty conservative, I think it would be hilarious if they got married considering their names.  Don't Kennedy and Boston just go together anyway?

Welcome Boston!

Yet another of our long awaited babies has been born! Boston (middle name undecided) Waddoups was born yesterday at 7:05 pm. He was 9 lbs 1 oz and 21 inches long! It's a good thing that he wasn't a week late like the doctor said he would be! I regrettably forgot my camera, so I have no pictures at the moment. Kennedy took a liking to him right away. His little bottom lip quivers which is so cute but heartbreaking! He has really long "monkey toes" that he will gladly stretch for you. We're so excited that he is here early and healthy. Congratulations Kim and Nate!
